Financial Assistance (Emergency)

NTCSA Student Emergency Fund

Newman Theological College Students Association (NTCSA) recognizes that the plans of well-intentioned students do not always work out. As such, the NTCSA has established a financial aid fund available by application to current NTCSA members to assist in the case of emergency financial needs. All applications can be directed through the present NTCSA President and the Dean of Students.

Process to Request Emergency Financial Assistance

To request assistance from the “NTCSA Student Emergency Fund”, a student must send a letter or email to the Dean of Students at Lorraine.Spenrath@newman.edu stating the amount of emergency financial assistance that they require and the reason for the request. The Dean of Students will schedule a meeting with the NTCSA President to review and make a decision concerning the student’s request. A decision will be made based on the student’s need and the amount of funds available for distribution. Results of the decision will be sent to the student via email from the Dean of Student’s office. The decision is final and cannot be appealed.

Decisions are confidential and all information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy of Newman Theological College.
